ORCHARD stands for Opportunities for Roman Catholic Homeschoolers Religious & Academic Development. We are a parent-taught teaching co-op for families who are Roman Catholic.
We meet at Seton from September to November and February to April on Fridays from 11:20-3:30 (this includes Holy Mass and lunch). Your oldest child must be six years old to join.
Our primary goal is to supplement what is being taught in the home.
We offer a diverse selection of classes. We have a different schedule every semester based on what parents want to teach.
Topics that we have explored in past semesters are:
- Academic subjects - Science with experiments, literature and book discussions, creative writing, problems in math.
- Classes in religion and faith formation
- Exploration of the arts - drawing, dance, music, and culinary
