We need YOU to make our Parish Directory Complete!

Plans are under way for the publication of a Parish Directory, including a Pictorial Directory and an on-line community!! Our new directory will tell the story of our parish: our members, leaders, activities... It will strengthen the bond we share in our parish. We would like our directory to include every parishioner and regularly attending visitor.  We ask that you please take the opportunity to celebrate family and be part of this important community building tool & historical document for our church!

Each family will recieve a FREE 8 X 10 portrait and directory just for participating!

Portrait sessions will take place at Seton.

Be creative with your portraits!!

You may bring props if you would like (musical instruments, family bible, well behaved pet) and you will have an opportunity to have generational portraits taken.  If you plan to have generational portraits taken, please schedule you families at consecutive times.

What to wear?

First decide if you prefer a formal portrait or one that is a bit more casual. This will influence your portrait clothing choice.

Traditional/Formal..."Sunday Best"
A traditional formal look is timeless and captures special memories of favorite dress outfits.
Se
lect solid-color dress clothing or formal-wear for a classic portrait look.

Casual
The casual look is warm & fun. Dress your family in jeans and coordinating shirts or sweaters. Or get creative! Maybe grandma made the whole family matching scarves? Bring them along! Maybe your family all supports the same sports team? Bring your jerseys!

Helpful Hints:

 • Choose a color theme (solid colors are best) and clothing style that represents your family.
 • Long sleeves are recommended for adults to focus attention on the face. Short sleeves are fine for infants and children.
 • Caution: Busy patterns and very bright colors on clothing can look distracting in your portrait.
 • Bring special props such as musical instruments, sporting equipment, Bibles, etc. Household pets are welcome with your organization's permission.
 • Be sure to coordinate your shoes with your clothing. Shoes may show in some poses.
 • Simple hairstyles and natural makeup are best. Hair should be trimmed neatly, but not cut within 48 hours of your portrait sitting.
 • Darker colors tend to be slenderizing.
