Early Stages Alzheimer's Care Group
The Alzheimer’s Association is offering a new program for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders that will meet on Mondays in room 1-2 of the Activity Center from 1:30-3:30 p.m. For more information please contact Robyn at rjhorn@tx.rr.com or at 972-396-8036.

Healing Matters II - Widows/ Widowers Group

A walk-in support group for anyone who has suffered a loss due to death. It meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Plano Medical Center in classrooms 1 & 2. For more information contact Ginny Robinson at 972-519-1588.

 

Eating Disorders Support Group
Is held the 2nd Sunday of each month at Custer Road Methodist Church.  For additional information contact Cynthia H at 972-824-6020.  
 

Prescription (RX) Anonymous

A non professional, self-help program for those who suffer from addiction to prescription drugs and over the counter medication. For more information, call Janice at 214-394-9998.”

ANNULMENTS

For assistance in applying for an annulment in the Catholic Church or for more information on what an annulment is and if one is needed please call Cecilia Jones in the parish office at 972-596-5505 x4222 or by email at cjones@eseton.org

 

FRIENDS OF THE BEREAVED

Extends compassion and support to parish families who have lost a loved one.  They provide food and/or serve at funeral receptions and continue to follow up with families needing support.  Time commitment is about 3-6 hours a month.  Many volunteers are needed.  For more information please contact Frances E at 972-390-8818.

 

MOTHERS AND OTHERS

NEW DAY GRIEF SUPPORT

SHAWL MINISTRY

Knits or crochets shawls to be given to those in times of need.  It is a visible reminder of God’s love.  There are many ways to be involved:  Knitting/crocheting, tying fringe, sewing labels, composing prayers, financial contributions, and donating yarn.  For more information visit the Shawl Ministry page:

SPONSOR COUPLES

The Sponsor Couple Program is one of the ways an engaged couple completes their marriage preparation requirements.  We are always looking for couples in the Church that have been married at least 5 years to mentor engaged couples.  Training is provided and it's a great way to connect with each other as a couple and with the larger community.  Please call Cecilia Jones in the parish office at 972-596-5505 x4222 or by email at cjones@eseton.org for more information.

 

STEPHEN MINISTRIES

A ministry that equips lay-people to provide distinctly Christian one-to –ne care for those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstance.  It takes a commitment of 10 hours a month once you are commissioned.  Many volunteers are needed for this special ministry.
